UI/UX & Brand Design for the Robot Remote Control Service

RoboPortal

Designing a Clearer Control Experience for a Robotics Platform

RoboPortal needed to move from a raw proof-of-concept interface toward a clearer MVP experience for robotics enthusiasts. The existing product felt too technical, had scattered UI elements, too many steps, pop-up interruptions, and lacked visual anchors that could help users quickly understand the service. We redesigned the interface and visual identity around a simpler user flow: create a profile, connect a robot, assign controls, and operate it remotely. The design direction combines neutral UI, structured grids, robot-focused visuals, and a control experience inspired by first-person interfaces from games and robotics systems.

The final concept gives RoboPortal a more approachable and structured digital experience. The interface now explains the service faster, reduces friction in the setup process, and creates a more natural path from onboarding to robot control.

Alongside the UI redesign, we developed a simple identity system that works across the website, interface elements, packaging, apparel, and presentation materials. The result is a clearer product story for a robotics platform moving from technical prototype to a more usable MVP.
